Sacred Work That Seems Unseen

There are days when teaching... or leading, parenting, or serving... feels like pouring water into sand. You give... and it disappears. You speak... and silence follows. You work hard, but the results are slow or seemingly invisible.
But unseen DOES NOT mean unimportant. And slow DOES NOT mean fruitless. God sees EVERY seed you plant. He sees EVERY time you choose kindness over frustration. He sees EVERY time you show up, even when you're running on empty. This is sacred work... BIG "K" Kingdom work.
In our little "k" kingdoms, we may never fully see the impact of our presence, our words, or our patience, but trust in this... someone else has carried it forward, is currently carrying it forward, or will carry it forward in the future (that someone is our students, an important person in their lives, one of our colleagues, etc.). We are all part of a much BIGGER story, so please stay rooted. None of us are doing this alone. "And let us not grow weary in doing good..." -Galatians 6:9
